What an idiot. I cant believe he thinks that Jimmy should be freed let alone to wear that in public.
I wonder do any of the people on here posting comments know Jimmy Wilson? Jimmy is a good person, none of you know the full circumstances of the situation and one day when Jimmy is freed you will regret saying the things about him that you have said! Funny how all of you cheer these guys on every saturday, they are your heroes when they win a game, but when they stand up for a woman getting urinated on, and beat up repeatedly then all of a sudden you hate them? To me I am more proud of him for standing up for his aunt and NOT allowing the abuse to continue than I am for the tackle or interception he made on a saturday afternoon. As for the person calling CC and idiot...funny how you can call someone you don't know an idiot, don't judge people until you know them or the WHOLE situation! I wonder the men who write on here do they beat women? is that why they think it is ok? Just so you know CC is not the only person who thinks he should be freed, and for those of you who don't...well even Jimmy would pray for you and wish you the best!
Beating and urinating on a woman is by no means OK... at all. No one is justifying what Kevin Smoot did. That was, indeed, awful. However, does that really rationalize killing someone? Isn't there a better way to "end the abuse" than by going far past it? I don't think anyone can justify taking away someone's dad, as awful as he may have been. There had to have been a better way for this to have been handled.

Colin, you were NOT there, you do not know what happened! Once again DO NOT judge someone. When Jimmy is cleared of all of this and free I hope you will be man enough to apologise!
I do not know what happened, for sure, agreed. But I do know someone died. That's not good. I've read what Jimmy's grandmother said happened and I hope that is the case, that it was self defense and a struggle for the gun. Who knows though, this is iffy. On top of this case, Jimmy has had past incidents with the police department and local people, including reportedly brandishing a firearm and chasing a man onto the freeway. It's going to be a tough reputation to overcome.
