Just kidding about the Tinkle thing. But that WOULD be pretty funny. Having a name that's a euphemism for taking a piss would suck.

I thought something Grizzly bear related on the back might make more sense than just "stand."

The 'Stand' has been the biggest complaint so far. Here's the rationale behind it: it's simple, very, very simple. As clever as we all try to be, it's going to sound complex or confusing to someone. The other reasoning: some people constantly bitch when others stand. Yeah, the student section at a hoops game not only sitting, but telling others to do so as well. It's the biggest obstacle right now. The lack of participation. Slap a cheesy quote, quip or pun on there and it's the same as every other shirt. This team plays alot better when students are involved and stand up so that they at least look like they care. The shirts may look somewhat dumb outside a game setting but at the games it fits -- i think -- perfectly.

Yo Colin I thought of this idea I would like to share for the griz basketball shirts. For the backside of the shirt put the phrase "SHOW ME YOUR GRIZ FACE" which is linked with the famous saying "SHOW ME YOUR THIZZ FACE" from the rapper Mac Dre.. and then below that a picture of Mac Dre himself gettin his thizz face on... haha thought it would be a good idea.. Thoughts??

Haha, I really wanted to go w/ something hip-hop related but the problem is that half these in-state kids will miss it unless it's something completely awful like 'party like a rockstar.' Plus we'd need a grizzly bear doin the face, bc that would be too perfect.

Here's the problem though, most of the back of the shirt is blank bc we'll probably need advertising to cover the cost of production. However this is something that I'd want to be done every year. New design for each season like every other school does. We'll see how well this goes.

Well I see where you are coming from seeing that alot "Montana" people aren't familiar with Mac Dre. John Gray and I are wanting to re-produce Dre's, "The Thizzle Dance" and get Zach Graves(Who after getting to know pretty well is pretty amazing at free-styling) and some other players to rap on it. Something like the "The Grizzle Dance" haha. And hoping they will play it at griz football and basketball games. Alot of people dont know Mac Dre but most of them know the Thizzle Dance. And its not the same old Party Like A Rockstar (just using an example) hit line that the Montana greek system would put on their shirts for a formal. Ya know? I think its pretty unique. Plus alot of schools that we play in the north west and west coast would get a good kick out of it.
