Griz lax beats up on schools I did not know existed

The Montana Grizzlies lacrosse team gets some attention today because a couple guys from Bainbridge just cleaned up in this weekend's games. Take that Mercer!

Bainbridge Island, Wash. natives Sam Cameron and Willy Delius combined for nine goals and four assists in a victory over Southern Oregon on the Whitman Campus Saturday. Cameron also added four goals and three assists in a victory over Albertson College of Idaho in their match on Sunday.

The Griz beat #14 Southern Oregon on Saturday by a score of 18-7 before an even bigger trouncing of Albertson on Sunday. The Griz beat the Albertson Coyotes 26-8.

The Griz are ranked #11 in the latest MCLA Division B Poll, one spot behind Montana State. This poll is dated 4/7/07 so there may be another one coming out today.
